Erema type E & F standard rod elements are manufactured from high purity alpha Sic grains that are extruded in the form of rods or tubes before being bonded together by a process of recrystallization. The firing process ensures the creation of elements with strong uniform bonds between adjacent grains and the particle size distribution is closely controlled to ensure optimum material density and electrical resistance.
The rod type element's consists of a central hot zone section and two low resistivity cold or terminal ends.
